The Glory of the Garden + Q&A

Tucked away in the woods is a labyrinthine junkyard wonderland known as the Hereford Alternative Arts Centre, boasting such delights as a kettle tree, a canoe hotel and a geodesic dome made of bed-frames.

This is all the singular creation of Black Country visionary Paul 'Rick' Jones, a work-in-progress since 1974 and documented over the course of one summer by Barney Snow (who was at Flatpack 2014 with Mario Lanza beermat film Some Day I'll Find You).

Knockabout and affectionate in equal measure, The Glory of the Garden also has an undertow of sadness - as Rick puts it, "unless you believe in magic, you'm on your own."

This UK premiere will be followed by a Q&A with director Barney Snow.
