The Wolf House

Presented as a found film from an isolated German community in Patagonia, The Wolf House tells the cautionary tale of a young girl Maria (Amalia Kassai) who lets three pigs escape the farm and is punished with a hundred days of exile.

She sets up home with two of the pigs who gradually morph into her human children Pedro and Ana, menaced all the while by a mysterious wolf.

Made through a series of residencies at galleries around the world, this debut feature from a Chilean animation collective recalls the work of Svankmajer and Lynch while conjuring up its own poetic, nightmarish world.
