A Very Dresden Christmas!

Don't miss this very rare UK screening of the 1973 cult East German/Czechoslovak film that is an essential part of the Dresden Christmas, brought to you by Coventry Dresden Events (Dresden is the capital of the German State of Saxony. Coventry and Dresden were 'twinned' in 1959.)

Showing in the new Pavilion at Coventry Cathedral, the John Laing Centre, you will be able to enjoy the film with some traditional Glühwein and Stollen!

The film was made as a Czechoslovak/East German co-production in 1973, filmed at studios in Prague and East Germany, and in locations in South Bohemia and Moritzburg, just outside Dresden. The newly restored film will be screened with English subtitles with an introduction by Historian Mark Cook.
