Punku UK Tour
During the programming for this year’s festival we fell in love with a Peruvian film called Punku.
Darkly supernatural, it mixes super 8, 16mm, phone footage and stop-frame animation to conjure up a dream-like fable about two young people with a mysterious connection.
We’re delighted to welcome writer-director JD Fernández Molero to take part in a Q&A after the film’s UK premiere next Sunday, as well as a conversation event the following day at the University of Birmingham.
Not only that, but thanks to support from the British Council and the Independent Cinema Office Molero will then be hitting the road for a short Q&A tour. If you can’t make it to Flatpack, do try and catch Punku at the following venues…
