I’m Curator of Science & Industry at Birmingham Museums Trust, working with the Flatpack team to develop the Wonderland exhibition for Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery in 2022 and keen to explore how we can better represent Birmingham cinema stories in the museum’s collection. I’m interested in any aspect of Birmingham history, the history of technology and agricultural history (in a past job I spent a lot of time watching 1950s Ministry of Agriculture information films). I also love old movies – one of the highlights of my museum career was coming across some of Katharine Hepburn’s letters to David Lean in an archive.
