Birmingham On Film II

Birmingham On Film II

Posted on Friday 25th August, 2017

Birmingham on Film is back, and this year we’re casting off along the city’s waterways…

Last year we launched a month-long season of Birmingham-related archive film, screening the best (and worst) films made in and about Brum. Part 2 takes place 9-17 September, with a particular focus on Birmingham’s 35 miles of canals. Expect retro kids TV, Midlands alien sightings and everyone’s favourite disc jockey Alan Partridge.

In a final bit of good news, Sir Cliff is back to grace our screens once again for a very special screening of Take Me High aboard our very own canal boat/floating cinema. Seating is very limited for this one so grab your tickets quick; this may even be the last time we screen it (although probably not…)

Birmingham on Film II is part of here.

There’s also a bunch of other waterway-related screenings and events happening in the West Midlands this autumn. Full details here.
