Silent Night

Since 2012 Flatpack's silent film extravaganzas at St Philip's Cathedral have become a festive fixture complete with mulled wine and Christmassy shorts. Suberb live accompanists including John Sweeney, Paul Shallcross and Meg Morley have commandeered the church piano to underscore slapstick classics from the likes of Buster Keaton, Harold Lloyd and Mabel Normand. 2019 sees a slight change of tack, as we enter the sound era for Not-So-Silent Night...
