Flatpack is a mobile arts organisation which exists to show amazing work, bring people together and develop new ideas. We love film in all shapes and sizes, particularly when it bumps up against other artforms, and get a kick out of transforming spaces to create unforgettable events.

Flatpack aims to make the Midlands a more exciting place to be by sharing the most exciting, unexpected and remarkable works, showcasing the best local and international talent.

We are a charity and we strive to make all of our events affordable or free, and work very hard to raise the funds and support needed to deliver a festival programme as varied and vast as Flatpack.

We are grateful to receive funding from Arts Council England, the British Film Institute, Birmingham City University, cultural institutes and valued trusts and foundations. However, this funding does not cover the full cost of delivering our festival alongside our breadth of year-round projects and events.

We rely on sponsorship, partnerships and individual donations to help us deliver our work, counting on those who are as passionate as we are about developing culture across the Midlands.
