We recently confirmed BFI support for a programme of film activity in Coventry during 2020. As part of our work with Film Hub Midlands, Flatpack and Broadway in Nottingham will be developing an equipment resource and supporting a number of pop-up screenings throughout the year, working with the team at Coventry City of Culture Trust to lay foundations for 2021.

In order to make all this happen we are currently on the hunt for a brilliant freelance project manager, with a particular focus on developing partnerships across the city and helping to support a range of film activity for different audiences. All the details are here, and the deadline is 29th November.

...And while we're on the subject of film in Coventry, it's worth noting that Coventry Biennial is in full swing (including a number of screenings and film installations) and the Screening Rights Festival launches at Coventry's Old Grammar School on 21 November. Then on 7 December Coventry Cathedral will once again be screening The Snowman with live orchestral accompaniment.
