It’s that time again – half term – and if you’re wondering what to do with the family this week then look no further; Flatpack have a range of family friendly events coming up, from live music and animation workshops to children’s film screenings.

Caravan of Film, 12:30-13:30, Friday 31 October, mac birmingham

Gypsy-folk band Trio Damba have returned from their travels through Eastern Europe with a collection of animation, but they've lost the films’ soundtracks and need your help to create brand new musical accompaniments. Caravan of Film proved hugely successful as part of Flatpack 8 in March and this could be your last chance to catch this truly memorable experience.

Film Club: Matilda, 2pm-4pm, Sunday 2 November, Library of Birmingham

Sunday Film Club’s Roald Dahl season continues at the Library of Birmingham on 2 November with a screening of Matilda. This charming film tells the tale of a bright young girl who overcomes her neglectful parents and fiendish headmistress, discovering along the way that she is capable of extraordinary things.

Also showing:

Outer Sight presents a family friendly spooky spectacular at St. Columba's in Moseley, featuring two Children’s Film Foundation titles, The Man From Nowhere and Ghosts and Ghoulies. Plus free ghoul bags.
