Jessica Ashman

Jessica Ashman is a London based, BAFTA in Scotland award winning animator, artist and arts educator. Using tactile, hand drawn and paper animation processes, Jessica aims to create narratives that dissect ideas on belonging and identity, searching and creating connections between the politics of gender, race and feminism and the unlimited possibility of the animated world. She has worked with Animate Projects, UK Film Council and Arts Council England as well as having created arts educational projects for the ICA, The Wellcome Trust and the Tate Modern.
