Nan Wang: Hue Shift
Artist and filmmaker Nang Wang looks for beauty and meaning in objects the rest of us might not give a second look.
Through her work she creates immersive worlds for us to step into, using a combination of new and old tech - projectors and other ‘optical devices’, including various contraptions she makes herself.
The performance Hue Shift unveils the hidden magic that happens when light hits transparent materials.
Using a DIY projector and polariscopes (instruments used to measure and exhibit light) combined with an otherworldly soundscape, Nan Wang weaves a luminous web around her audience.
Perfect for anyone looking for a meditative Saturday evening escape for half an hour.
Presented in collaboration with Klankvorm.
