Ticketing & FAQs
We get asked that a lot
Hopefully you’ll find all the answers to any questions you may have, but if not, don’t hesitate to get in touch at info@flatpackfestival.org.uk.
How do I get my tickets?
An electronic ticket will be emailed to the email address provided at the time of purchase. You don’t need to print the ticket – just show it at the door.
What counts as a concession?
Concessions include students, over 60, unwaged and under 18's.
What passes are available?
You can buy a pass for Mockingbird to see all the amazing films on there for £80 (£40 concessions) or a Printmakers pass for all our live AV performances at the Printmakers Arms for £40 (£20 concessions). Buy passes over on our ticketing platform Eventive.
What are Solidarity tickets?
We recognise that not everyone has equal access to live events and that the cost of entry is a barrier to some people. Solidarity tickets are free tickets available for anyone who needs it. If you're not sure whether that's you, refer to our guide below (thank you to Matchbox Cineclub for sharing this guide).
Solidary tickets are for you if you agree with any of the following statements:
- I frequently stress about meeting basic needs (including food, clothing, housing and transportation) and don’t always achieve them.
- I have debt and it sometimes prohibits me from meeting my basic needs.
- I rent lower-end properties or have unstable housing.
- I sometimes can’t afford public or private transport. If I own a car/have access to a car, I am not always able to afford petrol.
- I am unemployed or underemployed.
- I qualify for government and/or voluntary assistance including: food banks and benefits.
- I have no access to savings.
- I have no or very limited expendable income (expendable income might mean you are able to buy tea or coffee at a shop, go to the cinema or a concert, buy new clothes, books and similar items each month etc.)
- I rarely buy new items because I am unable to afford them.
- I cannot afford a holiday or have the ability to take time off without financial burden.
We will not ask for any proof of circumstances, you can just book a free Solidarity ticket at checkout. Please note, there are limited tickets available for each event.
Are there any access restrictions at the venues?
You can find a full list of all our venues and access information on our Venues Page.
Are tickets available on the door?
Subject to availability, tickets are available to buy on the door at individual venues. Please be aware that payment will be accepted by card only.
Please bear in mind that capacity is quite limited at many venues. We recommend buying tickets in advance to avoid the crushing sense of disappointment if the event has sold out.
Where can I find age certificates for events?
Each screening has a certificate listed on the individual web page where applicable. Please not that where certificates are listed with an asterisk, or for things like shorts programmes, these have no official listing and are therefore a guide only.
Covid protocol
While restrictions are lifted, some of our audience, staff and artists will choose to take extra precautions whilst they are with us on site, and we ask that we are all respectful of anyone wishing to social distance and wear masks.
