Screendance
Flatpack’s annual programme of movement on screen returns with another adrenaline-packed study into choreography and cinematography.
We span the globe in this programme, from right here in Birmingham to the other side of the world, proving that dance really is a universal language. Join Iranian protesters in a powerful movement piece shot entirely on a phone, before spending time in a theatre full of cats watching a fish head perform Swan Lake.
Despite stylistic and thematic differences, the films have one thing in common: they’re all eligible for the coveted Screendance Award.
