The past is a funny old thing. Every moment is remembered differently from person to person, even with the help of technology, as explored in our third short film competition programme.
A low framerate could make all the difference in Sixty-Seven Milliseconds, a film tracing the trajectory of a bullet captured on surveillance camera footage. An Astronaut’s last words get muddled in GOODBYE FOREVER MAYBE? And previous Flatpack Award-winner Jamie Fraser returns with a story based on a past interaction (Mother Story).
These, and more, come together to show there are as many versions of the past as there are people remembering it.
Huge thanks to Matchbox Cine for providing Descriptive Subtitles for all six Short Film Competition screenings.
