The Animation Station!

Calling all budding young animators and future filmmakers. Fancy having a go at making your very own stop motion animation film? Making your own animated short is a lot easier than you’d think, not to mention it’s a boatload of fun for all the family. In this drop in workshop you’ll learn how to make a short film using just a few props and your smartphone! The finished films will be shown on Sunday 29 August before a special free open-air screening of Alice in Wonderland in Coventry's War Memorial Park at 2pm.

There'll be plenty more to see and do at Naul’s Mill Park as part of Beneath the Trees Festival - an urban village fete of music, food, dancing, performance, people, and storytelling for the whole family. Beneath the Trees invites you to feel the magic of the earth beneath your feet and find the space to breathe with family and friends.

This event is part of a series of film events and activities at various green spaces around Coventry as part of August's CineCov film programme, presented by Flatpack in partnership with Coventry UK City of Culture's flagship programme Green Futures.
