It’s nighttime on the USSR-China border.

Three seemingly invincible martial arts experts with a red boombox and a taste for Black Sabbath lay waste to a Soviet squadron, leaving lowly soldier Rafael (Ursel Tilk) as the sole survivor. ‘God has other plans for me’ he decides, and so begins his heavy metal kung fu odyssey.

Mashing together Estonian surrealism with chopsocky, Orthodox Christianity and Birmingham’s finest cultural export, Rainer Sarnet’s joyously daft action comedy plays like a lost 70s drive-in movie.
