2020 Festival Cancelled

It is with great sadness that we have to announce the cancellation of the 2020 Flatpack Festival.

On Friday morning last week we were ready to send our brochure to print. By the afternoon, we were beginning to accept that it wouldn't be possible to deliver the event. Along with the rest of the world, we are having to adjust to a transformed reality - one where our stated aim of 'bringing people together' is no longer a force for good, but potentially harmful. In these circumstances there's no way we can proceed with the festival as planned, although we hope that there are elements of the programme that we will be able to bring to you in other ways. Keep an eye on our social media for more news on this front soon.

In the meantime, we want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has worked with us tirelessly over the past year to plan this event - from artists and programme partners to funders and venues. We want to assure that your efforts won't go to waste, and that Flatpack won't be going anywhere - even if it's slightly more housebound for the next few months. We will keep hunting for the soul-nourishing and the mind-blowing, and sharing it in any way we can, and we look forward to gathering again on the other side. Until then, take care of yourselves xx
