As you may have noticed the Flatpack site has had a lick of paint in anticipation of next year's festival, and we're now open for submissions. If you've made a short film in the last couple of years and would like us to consider it for the Flatpack programme, have a look at the form here. For the first time we're charging a £10 entry fee. This is a decision that took a lot of thought as we don't want to put off anyone on the grounds of cash, but the process of cataloguing and sifting hundreds of films every year is incredibly time-consuming, and like everyone else we also need to think carefully about how the festival is funded in the future. If you've got any queries before you submit do drop us a line at info@flatpackfestival.org.uk, and we look forward to watching your films!

By the way, Flatpack is not just a film festival. There is no formal process for submitting performances, installations and so on, but if you have a proposal or idea you'd like to share with us feel free to drop us a line.
