Sound Explorers wanted

As part of our Birmingham 68 programme during the festival (more on which very soon...), composer and filmmaker Scott Johnston is working with people in the Erdington area to create a new piece of work inspired by hidden histories. During February he'll be running a couple of sessions at the Welcome Cafe in Erdington High Street, starting this Saturday 3rd February. This commission is part of a two-year initiative called For-Wards, which will create a feast of new music in collaboration with people across Birmingham. More info here, and look out for a series of climactic performances in June.
