Staff Picks: Clare
Round 2 of Staff Picks! This time from Clare, our marketing assistant.
This film sounds crazy, trashy and a little bizarre... and those are all good things in my book! It’s sure to be a big talking point when it comes out later this Spring, due to tween sensations Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens taking the somewhat controversial (or maybe predictable) move from Disney good girls to gun toting robbers in this 18 rated film. (Plus, I’m a big fan of James Franco- even with cornrows and gold teeth).
I’m really excited to see Rob Savage’s debut feature film Strings. Although a bit concerned it may make me feel like a massive underachiever; Savage made it when he was 18 and it was awarded the Raindance Award at BIFA. By the sounds of things we’re going to be hearing a lot more about Rob Savage in the future so I’m keen to find out what he’s got to offer.
Lastly, I like a party and I like cult horror films, and this is an event that manages to combine both!
