Another insight here into one of our Box of Light guests. Mike and Tre Simkin will be presenting The Ascent of Mont Blanc on Saturday 26 October at the Library, but this represents only a fraction of their magic lantern collection. They were good enough to let us invade their home with cameras last week to capture the full range of their 'phantasmagoria display', and the resulting film offers a taste of what's in store this weekend. Many thanks to Chris Keenan (Prime Objective) for putting this together, and to Pete James at the Library for making it happen.
