VHS Memories
The Video Palace was widely agreed to be a highlight at this year's Flatpack. Scalarama teamed up with Viva VHS and DVD Bang to transform Vivid Projects into a drop-in movie den of epic proportions, complete with soju shots and personalised membership cards. One of the things it did particularly well was stir up people's own video shop memories, sending them on misty-eyed Proustian reveries about the likes of Microwave Massacre and Basket Case. Happily, some of these reveries have been captured on camera by FTC Home Video and turned into this nifty 10-minute film...
