Video Interview: Shorts Filmmaker Leonhard Müllner

Flatpack Social Media Coordinator, Sam Briggs, caught up with filmmaker, Leonhard Müllner, to discuss his short film playing as part of Flatpack 2023, Hardly Working.

Part of our Otherworlds Shorts Competition programme following characters with their minds elsewhere, Hardly Working follows a group of Non-Playable Characters (NPC’s) populating the map in the popular video game, Red Dead Redemption 2. The short comes from the minds of the Total Refusal group, a pseudo-marxist media guerilla focused on the artistic intervention and appropriation of mainstream video games.
