At times the past year has felt like being in suspended animation, and it's so exciting to be planning not just another festival but all sorts of events and projects beyond that. To help us pull these off we are going to need some additional support at Flatpack Towers, and we're delighted to be recruiting this tasty freelance role...

Wonderland Project Manager

(July 2021 - October 2022)
At Flatpack we've always had a bit of a thing for Birmingham's film-going history, from bus tours of 30s Odeons to the Asian cinema stories touched on in our 1968 project. This has now borne fruit in a fantastic new project called Wonderland, mapping the city's picture-palaces past and present and exploring the stories associated with them. The Wonderland Project Manager will manage a team of volunteers, oversee a citywide detective hunt for movie memories, and work with us to develop a programme of events for summer 2022.
