7 Inch Cinema featuring Animat

Celebrating our tenth anniversary with an old-school filmnight, featuring Animat's live rescore of Dark Star

This time ten years ago we were sugar-papering the windows of the Rainbow pub and setting up for the first ever 7 Inch Cinema. A monthly filmnight that gathered together all sorts of shorts, clips and archive discoveries along with live acts and DJs, 7inch was the starting-point for an unpredictable and hugely enjoyable journey which continues today with Flatpack Festival and all our other projects.

This special tenth anniversary gig will include a compendium of past highlights, as well as live guests Animat. This Sheffield duo have rescored a number of cult favourites over the years, and tonight they present their suitably warped take on John Carpenter's stoner sci-fi classic Dark Star.
