Colour Box: The Grinch Double Bill + Workshop

Saturday 11th December, 2021

MAC Birmingham - Cinema | 10:00 - 12:00

Join us for a double-bill special with everyone’s favourite yuletide antihero, Dr Seuss’ The Grinch.

Faithfully adapted from the original book, this 1966 Christmas TV special first aired in the US in 1966 and has been enthralling family audiences across the globe ever since. With the inimitable Boris Karloff narrating, this animated tale tells the story of the lonely and heartless Grinch who dresses up as Santa and steals the Christmas spirit from the village of Whoville, until he sees the error of his ways, and the magic of the festivities. Screening alongside it is the lesser known prequel Halloween is Grinch Night, made 10 years after How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

There will be a workshop before the screening - come and make your own Grinch-themed Christmas tree decoration, mask and Christmas card. This workshop will be facilitated by Sarah Hamilton Baker.
