Departure Lounge: Strings
Rob Savage will join us for a screening of his much praised debut about the love -stumblings of four young people.
Think back to what you were doing between the ages of 18 and 21; unless it was years of worthwhile charity work then you’re just going to feel lazy in comparison to Shrewsbury-born Rob Savage. While everyone else aimlessly wonders what to do with their lives post-education, Savage went out and made his first feature film. As if that weren’t enough, his debut about the love-stumblings of four young people has garnered much critical praise and won the Raindance Award at the BIFAs. Rob's science fiction short Sit in Silence screened at Flatpack last year, and we're delighted to welcome him back to talk about this great leap forward.
The Departure Lounge supports new debut features by filmmakers taking off, and is a project of swish films.
