Fabricating, Forming and Joining Skills is Sellotape Cinema’s mechanical film, employing an audio triggered dual slide projector. A mash up of 1970s audio-visual training and learning media - boxes of slides and audio cassettes - from Linguaphone, and The Wielding Institute. Over time, other slides have found their way into the boxes and alternative sound recorded over the audio tape. The result is an attempt at a film, telling the story that emerged from the image and sound found within these boxes.
