Short Film Competition: Ties that Bind
Have you ever had a relationship that you can’t quite explain?
Or an odd way of connecting to other people and your community? These eight shorts explore the gamut of human relationships: from struggling to understand why, all of a sudden, your son is determined to become a fish (Go Fishboy); to a journey through the land of the dead to rejoin your ancestors (Willkawiwa (The sacred fire of the dead)); to simply being high at a family event and doing everything possible to stop your parents finding out (When You Left Me on That Boulevard).
