Exploring their subjects with somewhat of a shifted perspective, things aren’t always as they seem in this selection of works from some of the world’s most innovative filmmakers.
Exploring their subjects with somewhat of a shifted perspective, things aren’t always as they seem in this selection of works from some of the world’s most innovative filmmakers. Includes Harald Hund & Paul Horn’s Apnoe, a snapshot of a regular family life, the only unusual thing being, they live underwater. Japanese animation duo, Kawai & Okamura’s tribute to Peter Falk is an enigmatic whodunit with an interesting twist, and Austrian experimental filmmaker, Paul Wenninger’s spell-bindingly brilliant piece of pixilation animation, Trespass, is just about as good as short filmmaking gets.
This programme is repeated in the Custard Factory Theatre on 31/03/13 between 16:00 - 17:30.
