Beware the Moon

On Saturday we returned to Dudley for another outdoor extravaganza. We wondered if the popularity of last year's Bride of Frankenstein screening was down to the director's local roots, but the reception for An American Werewolf In London was even more enthusiastic and well over 1000 souls made their way through the encroaching murk to the castle. A specially filmed intro from director John Landis brought the house down, a bad moon rose to our right as the film descended into the realm of nightmares, and very few timbers were left unshivered by the end of the night.
