India on Film
Reimagining India kicks off this Friday, a season of film and dance at mac birmingham as part of Birmingham’s Year of South Asian Culture.
Including films of historical, political and cultural importance as well as some of the most influential moments in Indian cinematic history. The first event of the season is a premiere of a new archive compilation exploring the British Asian experience from the 1920s onwards. Grab your tickets here.
And head to mac’s website to take a look at the full programme.
Flatpack: Assemble is working with partners across the Midlands to help raise the profile of South Asian film in the region. This year we've supported ZEE Birmingham & Sandwell Mela and the Birmingham Indian Film Festival.
