BFI Network Presents… Midlands Short Film Club

Celebrating homegrown film talent and looking to some of the exciting things happening for filmmakers in the Midlands, BFI NETWORK and Film Hub Midlands are back for Midlands Short Film Club.

Alongside a screening of short films, the team will be joined by a panel of industry guests to talk about some of the great things happening in Birmingham and beyond, sharing thoughts on the importance of filmmaking here in the Midlands and how we can continue to support the region’s makers.

Find out more about upcoming opportunities and routes into the industry and watch a selection of short films made by Midlands filmmakers, funded through BFI NETWORK England Short Film Funding. Joining the discussion before the screening is Head of the BFI Doc Society Fund, Luke Moody and Midlands filmmakers Daniel Alexander, Kelly Holmes and Simon Dymond.

Join us for a drink and a chance to network with fellow filmmakers after the screening around the corner at Pan-Pan. One free drink per person with a BFI Midlands Short Film Club ticket. Drinks reception hosted by BFI Network and BFI Doc Society.
