Dudley Castle After Dark: Bride of Frankenstein
A one-night-only Gothic extravaganza featuring an outdoor screening of 30's horror classic Bride of Frankenstein set at the atmospheric Dudley Castle.
Darkness descends on Dudley, and the creatures of the night begin to stir. Up in the ramparts above the zoo, a flickering light can be seen...
This summer for the first time ever, Dudley Castle will be transformed into an open-air cinema. On the big screen: 1935 horror classic The Bride of Frankenstein, directed by local boy James Whale and featuring one of the most iconic hairdos ever seen on film. The evening will also feature spooky sounds, projections on the ramparts, hot food and a licensed bar. Bring your own blanket or chair, and expect the unexpected.
"Here's to a new world, of gods and monsters..."
8pm: Doors open 9pm: Warmup films 9:30pm: Our feature presentation
Please note: outdoor events go ahead come rain or shine. Tickets are non-refundable. Entrance to the event will be via the Fellows Pub car park, No 1 The Broadway, Dudley, DY1 4QB, from 8pm. Last admission on site will be 9.15pm.
