Film Club: Hugo + A Trip To The Moon
For 2014 Flatpack Film Festival’s family programme Colour Box teams up with the Library of Birmingham's Sunday Film Club to present a truly magical selection of films to be enjoyed by all. These screenings won’t be your average multiplex fare; expect live music, theatre performers, rare 16mm prints, and some of the best films from around the world, both past and present.

An orphan boy living under a railway station in Paris discovers the magical world of forgotten filmmaker Georges Méliès. Winner of numerous awards worldwide, including 5 Oscars.
To accompany Hugo, Georges Méliès' classic 1902 short film A Trip To The Moon will be screening on the Children's Library Story Steps from Saturday 11 - Sunday 19 January.
