The Rage: Carrie 2 with Evolution of Horror
With no lessons being learnt from the events of the first Carrie film that took place 23 years earlier, outcast Rachel Lang sets out for revenge against those who pushed her best friend to suicide.
Rachel struggles to control her fledgling telekinetic powers that she shares with the titular Carrie of the first film, which can only mean one thing: there will be blood.
As well as presenting the screening, horror and film history podcast Evolution of Horror are recording a live episode covering The Rage: Carrie 2 to mark the sinister sequel’s 25th anniversary.
If you’re the kind of person who finds the fun in horror films (we’re not judging) then you’ll want to be in the audience for this!
We'll also be screening Carrie (1976) at Botanical Gardens.
